Unity3D + Mixamo = goodness
Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 3:44PM We’ve started prototyping our next project, a 3D physics game for iPhone and Android devices. We’ve been following the progress of Unity for the last couple of years and finally decided it was time to take the plunge and purchase a Unity Pro license.
It’s been less than 24 hours and so far so good. Using Mixamo, a cool online character animation system, we got a basic prototype of our game up and running in about an hour. Mixamo has invested a lot in Unity integration, and we’re optimistic that we’ll be able to use their stuff in the final product.
