Summary
citizen12 studio was founded in 2009 by James Osborne, who got his start in the video game business as the manager of Apple's Game Technology Group. Since then he's been a technology leader at companies like Amazon.com and Microsoft Game Studios, launched a successful high-tech startup (Memeo), studied screenwriting at UCLA, and now makes games as the President and Creative Director of citizen12 studio.

citizen12 is a child of the new indie game development era spawned by the arrival of awesome free and near-free game development tools like Unity 3D & XNA Game Studio. We're decentralized and have virtually no overhead. The team is made up of individual game devs and artists (not employees), some of whom work part-time. We're held together by a common vision and good communication, along with just enough process to keep the train from going off the rails.
We're self-funded.
We love making games.
We have fun...
... and we have a plan.
